March For Our Lives demonstration is held.

More than a thousand people call for stronger gun control laws at a rally at Christopher Columbus Park. The demonstration is part of a national day of protest held in cities and towns throughout the U.S. Many of those participating in the Boston event are young people, including a young girl sitting on her father’s shoulders with a sign written in crayon that says: “No guns. When I grow up, I want to be: Still alive.”
